Errata exposes five read-only tools. Use the workflow-level tool for a concrete engineering task and the atomic tools for discovery or drill-down.

Searches device identifiers, exact ordering codes, and publisher ordering-code patterns. The result distinguishes resolved, ambiguous, and not_found. It returns selector metadata and source coverage, but catalog presence does not imply verified engineering facts exist.

Pass an exact part_number returned by search_parts. The response includes official publisher URLs, archived acquisition URLs, revisions, SHA-256 digests, byte counts, acquisition trust, explicit source gaps, and verified-release availability.

Resolution returns canonical MPN, packages, silicon revisions, topics, documents, quality counts, and available corpus releases. A broad identifier returns ranked candidates without silently choosing hardware. query ranks only identifier-matching candidates; it does not override the hardware identity.

Supported topics are registers, pins, electrical, and errata. Package, peripheral, revision, release, limit, and token budget are deterministic constraints. Hardware filters run first; the optional engineering query ranks only the surviving verified facts.

Use page.next_cursor exactly as returned. A cursor is bound to the release, part, topic, query, and filters. Do not construct or reuse it with different arguments.

The server resolves the target, exhaustively paginates relevant topic facts internally, selects a task-shaped subset, joins direct and cross-cutting errata, and reports intentional omissions and unsupported details.

Possible decisions are go, conditional_go, blocked, and resolve_target. concise is optimized for an agent’s working context. Use detailed or follow next_actions into get_context for exhaustive evidence.
